Shaquala Williams is no stranger to green. A Portland native, Williams played her college ball at the University of Oregon. The Pac-10's Freshman of the Year, Williams earned Player of the Year honors the following seasons. After missing the entire 2000-01 season, Williams returned to be named All-Pac-10 for the third time in her career. A third-round pick of the Cleveland Rockers in 2003, Williams was traded to Los Angeles at the end of training camp and averaged 2.0 points in 25 games for the Sparks, scoring a career-high 13 points against Phoenix. Williams split 2004 training camp between the Sparks and the Storm, but failed to catch on with either team.
