A change of scenery helped Roneeka Hodges achieve her dream of playing in the WNBA. At LSU, where she teamed with her twin sister Doneeka, Hodges fell on the depth chart when freshman phenom Seimone Augustus arrived on campus. For her senior season, Hodges transferred to Florida State, averaging 19.2 points and 5.6 and earning All-ACC First Team honors to cap her career. A second-round pick by the Houston Comets in teh 2005 WNBA Draft, Hodges spent three years in Houston before being selected by Atlanta in the 2008 Expansion Draft and traded immediately to the Storm with the No. 4 overall pick in exchange for the No. 8 and Iziane Castro Marques. Hodges was reunited with her sister for the Storm's 2008 training camp.
