| Mara Freshour joins the Seattle Storm after a standout career at Florida State University. Freshour played more games (114 in all) than any other Seminole, joining her classmates as the first Florida State players to reach the NCAA Tournament all four seasons. Freshour also finished her career second in school history in three-pointers, having shot 39.5 percent from downtown over the course of her career. That shooting ability and Freshour's versatility - she played every position but center over the course of her college career - attracted the attention of Storm Head Coach and Director of Player Personnel Brian Agler, and the Storm picked Freshour in the third round of the 2009 WNBA Draft. | ||||||||
