The first player ever drafted by the WNBA from the University of California, Ashley Walker helped lead the Bears to unprecedented heights during her four years in Berkeley. An All-Pac-10 selection three straight years, Walker led the conference in scoring as a senior at 19.3 points per game. She finished her career as Cal's all-time leading rebounder and second in career scoring and earned Associated Press All-American Third Team honors as a senior. The growth Walker demonstrated as a senior, including developing perimeter range, made her an ideal fit for the Storm, which selected Walker with the 12th overall pick in the 2009 WNBA Draft.
