Alison Lacey came to Iowa for her senior year of high school as an exchange student looking for a new experience. She ended her five years in the state as one of the most accomplished players in Iowa State basketball history and the highest draft pick ever from the school, No. 10 overall by the Storm in the 2010 WNBA Draft. A versatile talent and skilled shooter, Lacey played every position but center for the Cyclones before settling in at the point as a senior and recording the nation's second-best assist-to-turnover ratio. She also posted the second triple-double in school history.
