August 2, 2013

SEATTLE – The Seattle Storm’s annual Teddy Bear Toss will take place on Sunday, Aug. 11 at KeyArena during the Storm game vs. San Antonio. The game is slated to tip at 6 p.m.

The Storm will partner with Warm 106.9 and its Teddy Bear Patrol, which gathers bears for area hospitals, police and fire departments, social service agencies and other organizations working with children in very stressful and frightening situations. In 2012, the Teddy Bear Patrol delivered 10,440 bears to children and has already amassed 8,450 this year.

The toss will take place during a timeout in the game. Fans can bring teddy bears or purchase them at KeyArena for $7.50. Donations can also be made at The Huddle located outside Aisle 118, with checks made payable to WARM 106.9 Teddy Bear Patrol.
