June 29, 2006

Robinson
SEATTLE - The Seattle Storm today acquired 6-4 center Ashley Robinson from the Chicago Sky in exchange for forward Cisti Greenwalt and the Storm’s second-round pick in the 2007 WNBA Draft, Storm Head Coach and Director of Player Personnel Anne Donovan announced.

Robinson, a two-year veteran, is averaging 1.5 points and 2.8 rebounds in 10.2 minutes per game for the Sky.

“This trade helped us meet our need for depth in the post,” Anne Donovan said. “In Robinson, we get an experienced center that will help make us a more competitive team as we move in to the second half of the season.”
