    On the game:
A lot of people made big plays and hit big shots. Tanisha Wright played really well down the stretch at the point, Svetlana Abrosimova and Lauren Jackson hit big shots and defensively I thought we were real solid near the end of the game.

    On facing the Shock's pressure:
I think the best way to prepare for a team like this is to go through something like this. At least you have it on film and you have some experience. It’s been so long since we’ve played them and then you take Sue Bird out of the mix, it makes a big difference.

    On the game:
We had so many opportunities to give up and no one did. I think that is something we’ve done all year.

    On the Storm:
The girls were just unbelievable tonight and I think if we can keep chugging along up until the All-Star break, getting better each day, then I think we’ll have a pretty good lead.

    On the game:
To be 10 points ahead at halftime against this team was remarkable for our girls. We just couldn’t hold onto it. Going down the stretch we went back to turning it over and they went back to hitting three-pointers.

I think we just got sloppy with the ball. We turned it over a few too many times, they started getting open looks and their confidence went up.

    On the game:
We just need to learn how to finish games. I don’t think we’ve learned that lesson yet and until we do it’ll keep biting us in the butt.
