I think they challenged us physically and mentally. We were inconsistent on our response. It was like a roller coaster. First quarter we had an offense, then their defense got engaged.

Tough game for us. They created havoc. We handled it in the beginning. They were able to create turnovers and score easy shots off of them. This is a great environment. What they did in tonight’s game is their identity. It caused us to think. We were out of character. Personally, I feel our team did not play well.

Our defensive intensity in the second half was much better. Our defense in the second half was key to the game. Our full-court pressure wore Seattle down. Every win is big, but it’s always nice to beat a team leading the Western Conference. Seattle is a very good team. They started out very strong and we struggled.

We started off slow. But we turned it around quicker than we did at Connecticut. Seattle is a great team. (Jackson and Bird) have been playing together a long time and know each other's moves.
