    STORM HEAD COACH BRIAN AGLER:

    On the game:
I think they challenged us physically and mentally. We were inconsistent on our response. It was like a roller coaster. First quarter we had an offense, then their defense got engaged.

    STORM GUARD SUE BIRD:

    On the game:
Tough game for us. They created havoc. We handled it in the beginning. They were able to create turnovers and score easy shots off of them. This is a great environment. What they did in tonightís game is their identity. It caused us to think. We were out of character. Personally, I feel our team did not play well.

    INDIANA HEAD COACH LIN DUNN:
    On the game:
Our defensive intensity in the second half was much better. Our defense in the second half was key to the game. Our full-court pressure wore Seattle down. Every win is big, but itís always nice to beat a team leading the Western Conference. Seattle is a very good team. They started out very strong and we struggled.

    INDIANA FORWARD TAMIKA CATCHINGS:
    On the Fever's defense:
Itís like defense by committee. We werenít as in tune in the first quarter but the second, third and fourth our defense was tremendous. We made it tough for Lauren Jackson and Sue Bird for everything they got. We shared the ball really well. When we do that it makes things easier and creates mismatches. We struggled with free throws and weíll have to take care of that. We rely on our bench and they bring so much energy.

    INDIANA CENTER TAMMY SUTTON-BROWN:
    On the game:
We started off slow. But we turned it around quicker than we did at Connecticut. Seattle is a great team. (Jackson and Bird) have been playing together a long time and know each other's moves. It was a good win for us. And we need to piggy-back this against Atlanta. We had a lot of energy with us, especially at the defensive end.
