STORM HEAD COACH BRIAN AGLER:

On Ashley Walker's play:
Ashley played well. She was like that against the Chinese National Team too. She was active and aggressive. She's doing a good job for us.

On the game:
You don't think about winning or losing a game like this. You want to come out and see if we've improved. You want to look at individuals. If you get to the last couple of minutes and you've got a chance to win, you try to win. We tried not to overdo it, especially with Camille (Little). I think everybody got some pretty good playing time. I thought we got better in the second half. We kept them off the free throw line and didn't turn it over as much.

I thought our point guard play was pretty good from everybody. I thought, as the game went on, we started throwing it inside. At times earlier, we threw it into congestion. Later on, we did a better job of catching it and making better reads. I thought Ashley Robinson really had a good spurt there in the third quarter where she caught it two or three times. We're still in evaluating mode and it's just going to be a process.

On Alison Lacey's debut:
Alison, I thought, did a good job. She may not have shot the ball as well as she did down in Portland, but I liked her tenacity defensively. It's good to get a game like that under your belt.

GUARD ALISON LACEY:
On her first game:
It was good to get out there in front of the fans and put on the uniform. I was definitely nervous before the game. It was good to get it out of the way.

On going from practices to a game:
I think from training camp I was pretty prepared. It felt better out there than I expected. The pace is something I'm still working on, but camp has us prepared for anything.

On having just 10 turnovers as a team:
Yeah, that's something I'm really happy about, especially being a guard. We worked on that in practice and we did a really good job today taking care of the ball.

FORWARD ASHLEY WALKER:
On making a pair of three-pointers:
Just working on my jump shot. With me being on the wing, I have to be able to shoot it.

On playing against smaller players:
It's something that Brian tried to groom me to be able to do. I'm a bigger guard. Coming from being a post player to learning how to be a guard, it poses matchup problems. I'm a big three instead of being a small four. I had to get quicker where they have to be able to guard me in the post or on the wing.

FORWARD CAMILLE LITTLE:
On Walker's threes:
I saw that before. I think last year was her getting used to our system. As a rookie, sometimes it's tough. I think she's gotten more comfortable and now she's just playing and being the athlete that she is. When those shots are open, she's going to take them.

On which players stood out to her:
Ashley did a great job today. I think Ashley Robinson did a great job too. You can see her improvement on the floor on defense and offense. She was really poised and controlled today and she made some good shots. She's been doing that in camp also. I'm looking forward to her playing more minutes.

PHOENIX HEAD COACH COREY GAINES:
On the Mercury's execution:
It was hard because I don’t have any players, but we’ll be fine. It was tough on them because they were playing in spots they don’t normally play. The threes were playing four spots or fives. They did alright. They fought hard and they’re young. We’ll have the other players in next week. They need a little rest - mental rest. We have some exhibitions with the Chinese National Team, but the players coming back know our stuff so we’ll just have to get them going.

On whether any rookies may crack the roster:
Maybe. I have three spots open. I have to have some low-money people. We’ll have to see because some other people may get cut from other teams, too.
