STORM HEAD COACH BRIAN AGLER:
On the game:
We didn’t do a good job on the rebounds. We dug ourselves a hole. We didn’t sustain. Indiana competed hard.

On Sue Bird's game:
She didn’t get a lot of shots tonight. We’re going to get her some opportunities. She’s a good player, the best point guard. She will bounce back.

On the Storm's offense:
We had more turnovers than assists. That was a big factor.

On Katie Gearlds:
She’s steadily improving. She’s continuing to grow and she’s an excellent shooter. She’s in the rotation.

GUARD SUE BIRD:
On her game:
I take full credit for the turnovers. It’s my responsibility to lead the team and to make good passes.

On the Storm's play:
Coach placed an emphasis on rebounding, especially offensive rebounding, and we gave them too many chances.

FORWARD LAUREN JACKSON:
On the game:
It was hard to get into a good flow and rhythm. We had a good second and third quarter, but they shut us down in the fourth. We couldn’t get in good position to rebound and that was a big factor in the game.

INDIANA HEAD COACH LIN DUNN:

On the game:
I was very pleased with our energy tonight. We were tough all night long. We just kept playing. I’m pleased that we won the boards. This team just refused to lose, tonight. We made an adjustment on Jackson and got in a better position to defend her. We are a much better team when we are awake and not still on the plane.

INDIANA CENTER TAMMY SUTTON-BROWN:
On the game:
It was a very physical game, but all games in the WNBA are physical. Katie (Douglas) went out of the game, came back - pretty tough. We all had to focus on defense. Defense is a staple of this team. Our last game we had to put in a box and refocus and come through tonight. With limited players, the starting five played 30-plus minutes.

On facing the L.A. Sparks:
The coaches will have us prepared. L.A. is deep, but we have great players too. We’ll have to see what matchups the coaches have and what schemes they have ready for us.

INDIANA FORWARD EBONY HOFFMAN:
On rebounding after an 0-2 start:
Sunday’s game was so bad it was good to have it at the start of year instead of at the end. We finally found our rhythm together and played the game. Both teams had runs. I think we got to the free throw line more than them. The third quarter was bad for us. Lauren Jackson is a great player and all you can do is disrupt her.
