On the Storm's turnovers:
I think tonight's turnovers were a result of both us not being as sharp as we could be and New York being very aggressive, definitely - they caused a lot of them. I don't think we read the defense well at times. I think we were careless with the ball at times, and I think we got in a hurry at times, but that is just sort of how I read that.

On the game:
We are much better than this, but tonight New York just really played well. I think the score was a combination of things. It seemed like everything was going their way, but we still had a chance.

On the game:
I thought we had a lot of high energy to start the game. I think this is the first time we put together four pretty good quarters. That's something we looked at, the tape, and something we talked about.
On starting
Essence Carson:
You know Essence is a terrific athlete, good size. She has a lot of energy. She did a pretty good job, started on
(Swin) Cash, and yeah, she did good. I'd like her shooting percentage a little bit better. She brings a lot of energy. She can guard, she can rebound, and the offensive part is going to come.

On physical play:
Definitely it was an interesting game. Unfortunately, a couple of the blows were high to the head, but we bounced back for it. I did not let it affect me. We made some interesting plays at the end and held them off.
Between this game and Detroit, this game by far was one of the most physical. I think in the end we kind of showed our perseverance.

On getting the start:
I was out there to get the job done. She (Coach Coyle) said she really wanted energy out of us; she was looking for someone to attack the basket.
