    STORM COACH ANNE DONOVAN:
    On the game:
Very happy about the defense tonight. Holding them to 19 points and 20 percent shooting in the first half was solid and I was happy to see that we didn’t let up in the second. It was great to see others stepping up tonight and the distribution was outstanding.

    On clinching a playoff spot:
Finally. No, it feels good but there are still two more home games left and we would like to have home court with that second seed. Sacramento is coming in fired up, they’re looking for home court throughout the playoffs and it should be a great test for us.

    FORWARD LAUREN JACKSON:
    On the game:
It was a tough game down low, but we really needed it after the last time we were in here. We really want to lock up second and tonight helps. We are starting to feel really confident right now but these next two is were our focus needs to be.

    GUARD BETTY LENNOX:
    On returning to action:
I’m just happy to be out there. I try not to focus on the pain; I just try to focus on the game and not the wrist. It feels good to be in a position were we can achieve our goals from training camp.

    GUARD TANISHA WRIGHT:
    On her performance:
I just try to be on my game and it helps when the shots start falling down. They aren’t able to double-team down low as much when I can get going. We need to concentrate on the next two games and really build some momentum heading into the playoffs.

SAN ANTONIO HEAD COACH DAN HUGHES:
    On the game:
If you had told me we would hold Lauren Jackson to ten points and Sue Bird to nine points, I would have said, ‘I love that type of scenario.’ We shot poorly in the first half and the game had no flow. I’ll have to watch the tape, but we have to be able to convert our inside shots. This should have been a four-point game at halftime. That changed the complexion. We forced them to pick a player outside of Sue Bird and Lauren Jackson. Having Betty Lennox back helped them. We didn’t rebound very well and when you shoot 27% with only six offensive rebounds, that’s not enough. We weren’t shooting the ball well, so we should have been pounding the glass.

    On Katie Feenstra's game:
She had a double-double (14 points and 12 rebounds) and she’s a rookie. She continues to make a strong case for Rookie of the Year. We as a team are in a situation where we have struggled with our record, but her play continues to escalate.

    CENTER KATIE FEENSTRA:
    On her performance:
I have to play well. If I slack off in practice, I get killed by my teammates. My teammates prepared me for the game. I wanted to finish the last two games strong and go out in style. I just want to play basketball and have fun these last two games.

    On the Storm:
Every team has one or two players that are incredible. Seattle has more than a couple. They’re incredibly strong, physical and quick. They have great outside shooters and good drivers. They’re an overall good team.
