Storm Signs Lewis to Second Seven-Day Contract

SEATTLE - The Seattle Storm today re-signed 5-9 guard Doneeka Lewis to a second seven-day contract, Storm Head Coach and Director of Player Personnel Anne Donovan announced.

Lewis has appeared in two games for the Storm since joining the team on July 16, recording one steal in three minutes. The 25th overall pick in the 2004 WNBA Draft, Lewis holds career averages of 3.8 ppg, 1.2 rpg and 1.8 apg in 92 games. Lewis appeared in one preseason game for Los Angeles this summer, recording six points, four rebounds, one assist in 19 minutes, before being waived by the Sparks on May 18.
