Burse Named Player of the Week

Burse, in her second season with Seattle and fifth in the WNBA, scored a career-high 27 points on 11-of-13 shooting and collected six rebounds in the Storm's 79-68 victory over Charlotte on July 29. Burse's previous career high was 21, which she scored on two occasions (June 2, 2005 at Phoenix and July 25, 2003 vs. San Antonio).
Burse also had 13 points and nine rebounds, including seven offensive, while shooting 4-for-5 from the field in the Storm's July 31 win over the Los Angeles Sparks.
