Storm Signs Jordan Adams

SEATTLE - The Seattle Storm today signed 6-3 forward Jordan Adams to a training-camp contract, Storm Head Coach and Director of Player Personnel Anne Donovan announced. Per team policy, terms of the deals were not disclosed.

Adams holds career averages of 3.3 points, 2.3 rebounds and 9.6 minutes in one WNBA season with Minnesota. She recorded season highs of 13 points and 10 rebounds on July 23, 2003 against Connecticut. Adams was selected by the Minnesota Lynx in the second round (18th overall selection) of the 2003 WNBA Draft.

The Storm will open their 2006 season against Western Conference rival Los Angeles at KeyArena on Sunday, May 21 at 6 p.m. The following Tuesday, May 23, Seattle will host the Houston Comets at 8 p.m. at the Key. The Storm vs. Comets game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN2.
