Storm Waive Berthieu
The Seattle Storm today requested waivers on center Lucienne Berthieu, Storm General Manager and Head Coach Lin Dunn announced. The Storm also placed guard Michelle Marciniak on the injured list and activated Kamila Vodichkova from the suspended list.
Berthieu was the No. 19 pick overall by the Storm in the second round of the 2002 WNBA Draft. She averaged 1.5 ppg, 2.3 rpg and 8.3 mpg in four preseason games.
