Storm Announces Change in 2004 Preseason Schedule
SEATTLE - The Seattle Storm today announced a change in their 2004 preseason schedule in preparation for the franchise’s fifth campaign in the WNBA.
Seattle will face the Phoenix Mercury and the top pick in the 2004 Draft, Diana Taurasi, for a second preseason meeting at KeyArena on Sunday, May 16 at 6 p.m. This is a change in the 2004 Storm preseason schedule, with the game initially scheduled for Tuesday, May 18 at 7 p.m.
The Storm will open up their 2004 preseason schedule on the road against the Phoenix Mercury on Saturday, May 8 at 7 p.m. at America West Arena. Seattle will take on the Sacramento Monarchs on Friday, May 14 at 7:30 p.m. at Arco Arena in Sacramento, Calif.
The Storm, led by head coach Anne Donovan, tip off the 2004 WNBA season at home on Thursday, May 20 vs. the Minnesota Lynx at KeyArena and will host the two-time WNBA Champion Los Angeles Sparks at the Key on Saturday, May 22.
