Storm Picks Walker

The Storm used the 12th overall pick in the 2009 WNBA Draft to select California forward Ashley Walker, who led the Pac-10 in scoring as a senior. In the third round, No. 38 overall, the Storm drafted Florida State wing Mara Freshour. Storm Head Coach Brian Agler was pleasantly surprised Walker was available to the Storm.
