Who will be the next member of the Storm?
|
|
After winning the 2004 WNBA Championship, the Seattle Storm held the 12th, 25th and 38th picks in the 2005 WNBA Draft. Last season, the Storm traded its first-round pick and had only one selection (picking forward Trina Frierson with the 19th pick), but after losing three key players from the championship team as free agents, Storm Coach and Director of Player Personnel Anne Donovan looked to this year's draft for an infusion of young talent. She got it, taking Penn State's Tanisha Wright in the first round, Connecticut forward Ashley Battle in round two and Steffanie Blackmon from Baylor in the third round.
