The start of the Seattle Storm's 2010 training camp also means a new home for the team, which will practice beginning this season at Royal Brougham Pavilion on the Seattle Pacific University campus. The team has renovated the gymnasium's lower gym with a Storm court as well as banners from the 2004 Western Conference and WNBA championships and more.
"It's been good," said Head Coach
Brian Agler of the space, which also includes offices for the coaching staff. "I'm not hard to please. As long as we get a court and the acoustics are good and we're by ourselves, I'm good. The floor is very nice. The people at Seattle Pacific have been tremendous, they've treated us great. I just sort of show up and coach and we have our coaches' meetings and I leave, so everything has been good for me."
Be sure to check out the Storm court in team photographer Aaron Last's shots from Monday's practice.
