Director of Marketing Partnerships
The Director of Marketing Partnerships is responsible for overseeing all aspects of partnership sales for the Seattle Storm including renewing existing partnerships and securing new partnerships.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an overall sales strategy to retain current clients while also driving new business to increase overall revenue performance
- Work closely with executive and departmental staff to create a strategic plan and a sales culture that drives growth
- Package and sell fully-integrated corporate partnership programs
- Research and prospect for new business
- Manage overall sales performance of the partnership sales team
- Manage and coordinate development of partnership sales materials and presentations
- Develop and implement retail promotions to build awareness and drive ticket sales
- Conduct quarterly analysis of inventory and annual analysis of rate card
- Prepare and administer annual operating budget
- Prepare various monthly, quarterly and annual sales reports and forecasts as requested
- Provide excellent customer service
- Recruit, hire and manage partnership sales staff and account managers
- Actively support Account Executives in achieving their individual goals
- Foster and promote a collaborative and vibrant sales culture
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of experience in corporate sales; sports experience preferred
- Experience developing and implementing marketing partnerships
- Strong leadership, teamwork and relationship-building skills
- Proven track record driving sales growth and managing a budget

Manager, Ticket Sales
The Seattle Storm is looking for an experienced salesperson to drive revenue and assist with achieving overall sales and attendance goals of the Seattle Storm by managing ticket sales efforts. This position will work closely with top management in developing programs and revenue generating strategies to increase ticket sales and will manage a team of account executives focused on ticket sales.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute sales and prospecting strategies to maximize revenue generation from the sale of Storm ticket products, with a primary focus on selling group ticket products and experiences.
- Actively support Account Executives in their efforts to achieve sales goals
- Assist with and support efforts to increase season ticket renewal rates and new sales.
- Manage and monetize game-specific events with an emphasis on building relationships with clients that result in large group ticket purchases and repeat business.
- Develop and manage annual group sales business plan to achieve desired results including revenue goals, inventory management, pricing, product mix, etc.
- Assist recruiting, hiring, developing, incenting and managing Account Executives
- Collaborate with Marketing, Communications, Season Ticket Sales, and Sponsorship Departments to develop theme nights and specific events to maximize group sales.
- Manage sales campaign implementation to achieve or exceed desired goals including call volume, outside appointments, etc.
- Reinforce and practice excellent customer service which increases customer retention and investment.
- Participate in in-arena sales and service opportunities including hosting customers and prospects,

Qualifications:

- Display strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Meet and/or exceed organizational tickets sales revenue goals.
- Demonstrate ability to manage and grow a client base.

Account Executive, Group Ticket Sales
The Seattle Storm seek a passionate, committed, energetic salesperson to help drive revenue and assist with achieving overall sales and attendance goals of the Seattle Storm. This person will sell a variety of ticket products, with a primary focus on group events and experiences. Additionally, this role will be responsible for servicing existing ticket holder accounts to achieve optimal retention and escalation results.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales and prospecting strategies to maximize revenue generation from the sale of Storm ticket products, with a primary focus on selling group events and experiences. Additionally, candidate will also be responsible for selling new full season tickets and multiple-game packages.
- Work with group leaders to develop and implement game day events and experiences that result in large ticket purchases and repeat business.
- Develop a pipeline of prospects to support long-term growth objectives
- Meeting or exceeding weekly productivity requirements for out-bound call volume and prospecting meetings
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Participate in game night sales and service opportunities including greeting and hosting customers and prospects and managing event implementation
- Attend team and community events for the purpose of making new connections and maximizing sales opportunities
- Participate in ongoing sales and service training and other professional development opportunities
- Influence and motivate peers to meet personal and team objectives
Qualifications:
- 4 year college degree or combination of equivalent education and experience
- Minimum of 2 years prior direct selling and service experience required; ticket sales experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills; experience with Ticketmaster’s Archtics software preferred

Ticket Sales Associate
Ticket Sales Associates generate revenue and assist with achieving overall ticket sales and attendance goals of the Seattle Storm by selling full season tickets, multiple-game packages, and group nights.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Generate new business revenue selling new full season tickets, multiple-game packages, and groups.
- Participate in phone call campaigns that require phone and cold calling skills.
- Meet weekly productivity requirements for out-bound call volume and outside appointments.
- Build and maintain relationships which result in trial, purchase and repeat business.
- Deliver excellent customer service.
- Participate in game night sales and service opportunities including hosting customers and prospects, making in-seat visits, and staffing the Fan Information Booth.
- Attend team and community events for the purpose of making new connections and maximizing sales opportunities.
- Participate in ongoing sales and service training and other professional development opportunities.
- Influence and motivate peers to meet personal and team objectives.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must be able to start on March 1, 2012 and stay through September 21, 2012.
- Must be present for comprehensive training March 1-2.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills - especially over the phone and via e-mail
- Strong computer skills - understanding of CRM or database management is preferred
- Possess creative, strategic, and quantitative skills sets.
- Able to work evenings and weekends.
- Show initiative and be a self-starter
- Meet and exceed weekly and monthly ticket sales goals
This is part-time, seasonal, position reporting to Senior Account Executive. (Start date: 3/1/12, End date: 9/21/12)
Retail Sales Associate
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greets and acknowledges customers
- Recommends, selects and helps locate or obtain merchandise for customers
- Processes sale with appropriate point of sale system, accepts payment, counts change and bags merchandise
- Follows all register procedures and handles cash accordingly
- Verifies amount of bank at beginning and the end of each shift
- Completes all related close-out paperwork and performs other duties as assigned
- Run merchandise to locations as needed
- Maintains a clean and organized store or stand
- Assists with loading and unloading of merchandise
- Distribute merchandise to locations
- Ensures that all merchandise is correctly labeled and displayed
- Sets aside and notifies supervisor of defective, mismarked, mislabeled, incorrectly priced, shopworn or damaged merchandise
- Conducts inventory, as directed by supervisor/manager
