Gallery: Reading Timeout at Madrona

June 15, 2011

The Storm's Read to Achieve program is under way for the 2011 season. On Tuesday, rookie Krystal Thomas visited Madrona K-8 School in Seattle to read the book Ella Sets the Stage, by Carmela and Steven D'Amico, to students.

"It was great," said Thomas. "I really enjoyed reading to the kids. They were enthusiastic. It was my first community event for the Storm, so I really enjoyed it."
