Jennifer Azzi Announces Retirement
The San Antonio Silver Stars have announced that Jennifer Azzi has decided to retire from the WNBA. She leaves the Silver Stars as the franchises all-time leader in three-point shooting (44.6%, 128-287) and assists (532). During her four years with the organization, Azzi averaged 8.7 points, 2.6 rebounds and 4.7 assists in an incredible 35.8 minutes per game.

    Azzi Leaves Game After Classy, Successful Career
    Jennifer Azzi’s long journey as a professional basketball player ended in San Antonio on Monday as the Silver Stars announced her retirement from the game. Azzi finished her career by starting all 34 games in the Silver Stars’ first season in San Antonio, averaging 7.6 points per game. As one of the WNBA’s most notable veterans and the league’s all-time leading three-point shooter (45.8 %), Azzi made her decision to leave the game after five successful seasons in the WNBA and 13 years in women’s professional basketball.
