Silver Stars Host Military Appreciation Night Friday

SAN ANTONIO The San Antonio Silver Stars will honor the men and women who have served and continue to serve our country with their annual Military Appreciation Night, presented by Hallmark College, this Friday, Sept. 7. The team will honor current and former military personnel throughout the game against the Indiana Fever at 7 p.m. at the AT&T Center.

The Silver Stars are offering military service members, including veterans, up to 40 percent off the price of regular admission when they show a valid military ID at the box office. Army Command and Control vehicles, including an 18-wheeler with interactive features on the Army North Mission will be available to tour outside the AT&T Center Southeast Entrance. Army General McQueen will address the crowd prior to tip off, while Hallmark College will honor Colonel Jeanne Hardrath and Master Sergeant Alucia Davis both from Lackland Air Force Base in a special halftime ceremony.

Following the game, the Silver Stars will auction their home game-worn jerseys and the opportunity to attend dinner with the team, with proceeds benefitting the teams Tickets for Military Kids campaign. An annual initiative, the Silver Stars Tickets for Military Kids campaign utilizes donations from fans and season ticket holders to purchase tickets for military families to attend Silver Stars games.

Lower level seats for Military Appreciation Night are available starting at $11 or up to 40% off with a valid military ID. Visit sasilverstars.com or call a Silver Stars representative at (210) 444-5090 for more information.
