Washington D.C.
July 14, 2009

One year on our trip to play the Mystics, I was on a walk from our hotel to one of Washington's best kept secrets, The Mansion on O. It's a historic small hotel that was founded by H.H. Leonards-Spero and is just one of the most historic spots in Washington with great atmosphere.

I was there to visit my wonderful friend David Spero who was there to celebrate his birthday and visit his brother and sister-in-law who run the Mansion on O.

On my visit I had the pleasure to meet Jeff "Skunk" Baxter who now works as a missile defense advisor for our government but also was an incredible guitarist for Steely Dan "Reeling in the Years" and the Doobie Brothers "China Grove" (a little town around San Antone).

He was kind enough to take a picture with me and just another memory on my musical journey through the WNBA.
