Prospect Profile: Angel Goodrich

Scheduled for Monday, April 15, the 2013 WNBA Draft will make history as the world’s top female basketball prospects will be selected live on prime time television for the first time in the league’s 17-year history. San Antonio holds four selections in the 2013 WNBA Draft – one first round, two second rounds and one third round. The Silver Stars have the No. 8 overall pick as well as the No. 16, No. 20, and No. 32 selections.

A four-time Women’s Basketball Coaches Associations (WBCA) and Associated Press honorable mention All-American and two-time Nancy Lieberman Award finalist, Goodrich is in her fifth year at Kansas after redshirting as a true freshman due to ACL surgery. As a junior, she led the nation with 7.4 assists per game while posting a team and Big 12 Conference single-season high 250 total assists. She also set the Allen Fieldhouse record for both men and women with 16 assists versus Texas on Feb. 8, 2012.
Goodrich has started all 94 games in which she has played during her collegiate career, averaging 10.9 points, 6.8 assists and 3.4 rebounds per contest.
