Prospect Profile: Skylar Diggins

Throughout the 2012-13 offseason, SASilverStars.com will profile an athlete eligible for selection in the 2013 WNBA Draft. Scheduled for Monday, April 15, the 2013 WNBA Draft will make history as the world’s top female basketball prospects will be selected live on prime time television for the first time in the league’s 17-year history. Coverage and analysis of the first round will air live on ESPN2 beginning at 7 p.m. CT from ESPN in Bristol, Conn.

San Antonio holds four selections in the 2013 WNBA Draft – one first round, two second rounds and one third round. The Silver Stars have the No. 8 overall pick as well as the No. 16, No. 20, and No. 32 selections.

She enters her senior season poised to become the first women’s basketball player in Notre Dame history to record 2,000 points, 500 rebounds and 500 assists in a career.
