Memorable Moments: 11/20/12

Following its 10th season in San Antonio, the Silver Stars will be compiling a list of the Top 10 moments in franchise history. Each Monday - beginning October 8 and running through April 29 will feature a memorable moment in franchise history. Memorable moments will be selected by front office staff or submitted by fans throughout the offseason.

Beginning May 6, fans will have the opportunity to vote for their Top 10 moments in franchise history from the 30 memorable moments presented throughout the offseason.

The Silver Stars name Dan Hughes the seventh head coach in franchise history.

Hughes began his WNBA coaching career with the Charlotte Sting in 1999 and led the Cleveland Rockers for four seasons (2000-03). In his five years as a WNBA head coach, Hughes led his teams to four postseason bids, compiling a 76-74 overall record. He earned WNBA Coach of the Year honors in 2001 after guiding the Rockers to a first-place finish in the Eastern Conference with a 22-10 overall record.
