Silver Stars Superlatives - Performance of the Year

Shameka Christon (May 19, 2012 at Tulsa) – Christon made her Silver Stars debut and return to the WNBA after missing almost two full seasons due to injury. She netted 16 points in 15:46 minutes, going 6-for-8 from the field including 3-for-5 from beyond the arc.

Becky Hammon (June 1, 2012 vs. Phoenix)  - Hammon notched a season-best 30 points in San Antonio’s 85-66 win against Phoenix. She connected on 9-of-14 from the floor and was 7-for-9 from beyond the arc, tying her own franchise record for 3-point field goals made in a single game.

Jia Perkins (July 8, 2012 at New York) – Perkins recorded a season-best 24 points in San Antonio’s 94-81 victory at New York. Perkins shot 10-for-17 from the floor while adding three rebounds and three assists.

Sophia Young (Sept. 1, 2012 at Phoenix) – Young notched a career-high 32 points in San Antonio’s 94-90 loss at Phoenix. Young shot 14-for-20 from the floor and 4-for-7 from the charity stripe while adding eight defensive rebounds and a pair of assists.

Danielle Robinson (Sept. 21 vs. New York) – Robinson had a team-best 21 points in San Antonio’s 77-66 victory against the Liberty on ESPN2. Robinson went 9-for-11 from the floor and 3-for-3 from the charity stripe while adding five rebounds and a team-best five assists.

Danielle Adams (Sept. 23 vs. Minnesota) – Adams’ 28 points led the Silver Stars to a 99-84 win against Minnesota in the regular season finale. Adams shot 9-for-17 from the floor, 2-for-3 from beyond the arc and 8-for-9 from the charity stripe while adding six rebounds and a pair of assists.
