Following its 10th season in San Antonio, the Silver Stars will be compiling a list of the Top 10 moments in franchise history. Each Monday - beginning October 8 and running through April 29 –

SASilverStars.com will feature a memorable moment in franchise history. Memorable moments will be selected by front office staff or submitted by fans throughout the offseason.

Beginning May 6, fans will have the opportunity to vote for their Top 10 moments in franchise history from the 30 memorable moments presented throughout the offseason.

Spurs Sports & Entertainment learns that the Utah Starzz will relocate to San Antonio and begin play in 2003.

One of the WNBA’s founding franchises, the Utah Starzz operated under the Utah Jazz umbrella from 1997 through 2002. The Starzz notched their first winning season in 2000 with an 18-14 record and made two playoff appearances – 2001 and 2002 – reaching the Western Conference Finals in 2002.

San Antonio was guaranteed a WNBA team after satisfying a requirement to collect 6,000 deposits for season tickets.

The Utah Starzz were the third franchise to relocate from their original city, following Orlando and Miami.
