This season the Lee High School Lady Vols have lived and played by one word: RELENTLESS. Never giving up and playing until the final buzzer is the number one life lesson first-year Head Coach Dru Tomaszewski preaches to her players.  She is able to do that with the motto "RELENTLESS".  The Lady Vols have five seniors on their team this year that have all been a part of the Lee basketball program since their freshmen year in high school. The seniors are doing a fantastic job of leaving a legacy for this program.  The Lady Volunteers are proud to be at Robert E. Lee High School where they can truly live by, "There is nothing stronger than the heart of a Volunteer!"

During the 2012-13 offseason, the San Antonio Silver Stars have teamed up with the US Army to present the Army Strong High School Team of the Week. This program recognizes varsity girls’ basketball teams in Texas whose athletes demonstrate sportsmanship and leadership on and off the basketball court. Every Tuesday, beginning in January and running through March, the Silver Stars select a team that succeeds beyond the win-loss column and makes a difference in its school and community.

Each winning team will receive a visit from Silver Stars Head Coach and General Manager Dan Hughes and a US Army representative as well as tickets to a 2013 Silver Stars regular-season home game.
