Simply get a group of people together who you think might be interested in purchasing season tickets and we'll take care of the rest, including entertainment, food, soft drinks, raffle prizes and even the venue, if you prefer to not host the event at your house. Depending on the number of people in attendance, either our co-owners Kathy Goodman and Carla Christofferson, General Manager Penny Toler or Sparks Head Coach Michael Cooper could be at your event.

We will also give you a pair of courtside tickets to a Sparks home game during the 2009 season if six (6) season tickets are purchased at the event. "In 2007, I threw an L.A. Sparks influencer party in my home to support something I believe in, Women's Professional Sports and the WNBA. My first thought was guest list. Who will I invite? I invited people I knew who already had tickets; their enthusiasm for the game was infectious! It was a party so I just invited people I liked. I thought if they get interested great, if not it'll be great to see them.

Some of my friends came just to support me because they knew of my passion for supporting women's professional sports, particularly the Los Angeles Sparks. What touched me was close friends who were not basketball supporters decided to get mini ticket plans or full season tickets mainly to help my influencer party be a success. It was so much more than a success.

The Sparks sent Pati & a ticketing representative to my home early to set up the food, drinks and Sparks promo information. Friends began to arrive; it was like a reunion for many and fun for my friends from different areas of my life to have the opportunity to share in on an event like this. Penny Toler, the LA Sparks General Manager showed up to my house! I could hardly believe it. The General Manager at my house talking to my friends about the LA Sparks, the new ownership, the players and the need for support of this franchise. Can you imagine how impressive it is to have that kind of passion and dedication available to your friends in your home? It's a day I'll never forget. It was an honor and a privilege for me to host this event. Needless to say my friends jumped onboard. I never had to ask, the event sold itself.

The results of this event lead to many fun nights with my friends at the games throughout the season. One friend who bought tickets more to support me than actual interest in the game started coming and got so wrapped up in it. It was so much more than just going to watch a basketball game. She had become emotionally invested in the outcome! It was exhilarating to pull the game out at the last minute and heartbreaking to lose. She soon understood my passion. I had a married couple attend a game with me some time ago. They were two people I cared about deeply. They weren't getting along and on the path to divorce. She told me that the Sparks game was the first fun time they'd had out in a very long time. He loved the game and she didn't understand it. He'd get so excited explaining the game, laughing, cheering and having a great time. She was just glad to spend time with her husband talking to her and having an enjoyable date night. She told me one day she thought the Sparks season tickets had saved their marriage. It's about putting aside the stress and strain of the day, kicking back and having a great time, supporting and being supported.

Supporting women's professional sports via the WNBA is a wonderful way to give back. When sports offered so many of us the opportunity at a young age to build a foundation for hard work, dedication, strong work ethic, goal setting, relationship building, the thrill of victory and the heartbreak of defeat. Please give something back by supporting the Sparks. Give the little girls out there a dream they can hold onto. Most will not become a WNBA Player, but all will be given the opportunity to learn life lessons to create better citizens in our communities. It puts the circle of giving into motion and you will get back so much more than invested. The friendships, the thrill, the heartbreak and the best value of sports entertainment in Los Angeles.
