Sparks to Host Chinese and Japanese National Teams in Preseason Games
Exhibitions at Pasadena City College May 5 and LA Southwest College May 10
The Los Angeles Sparks will host the Chinese National Team at Pasadena City College on Saturday, May 5 at 4:00pm to tip-off the WNBA pre-season schedule. They will then take on the Japanese National Team at LA Southwest College on Thursday, May 10 at 7:30pm.
“This is a great opportunity to see many of our exciting new players including the debut of our number one draft pick Nneka Ogwumike,” Team President Mike Levy said. “These venues will allow Sparks fans to be as close as possible to the action, at a very affordable price.”
General admission tickets are available for just $10 for each game with Courtside priced at $35 per seat.Tickets are available by calling 877-44-SPARKS (772757), or at each facility starting one hour before game time.
Following the two preseason home games, the Sparks will head north to play the Seattle Storm on May 13 in their third and final tune-up before the regular season begins.
