Sparks Guard Jenna O'Hea Returns
O'Hea Missed First Half of Season While Playing for Team Australia
The Los Angeles Sparks welcome back Jenna O'Hea to the roster, the team announced today.
The 6'1" guard missed the first half of the season while playing for Team Australia in the Olympics. O'Hea averaged 7.4 points, 3.5 assists and 3.3 rebounds in 23 minutes in helping Australia to a Bronze Medal in London.
In her rookie campaign last season, O'Hea averaged 4.8 points, 1.3 assists and 1.5 rebounds in just 16.4 minutes per game.
The Australian native returns to a Sparks team that has won eight straight games, is 18-6 and in second place in the Western Conference. The Sparks will go for their ninth win in a row when they take on the New York Liberty tonight at 7:30PM at STAPLES Center.
