The Los Angeles Sparks rocked the historic Santa Monica Pier on Saturday May 13th from 11:30am-1:30pm. Fans came out from all over the city to greet the new 2006 squad that includes veteran returnees Lisa Leslie and Mwadi Mabika who are celebrating their 10th Anniversary Season with the Sparks! Newcomers Temeka Johnson and Murriel Page also enjoyed a very warm welcome. Everyone had a blast shooting hoops for a Sparks mini basketball, watching the Sparkids perform, winning raffle prizes, and getting autographs from the entire team and coaching staff! This event also kicked off Home Court Advantage, the team’s brand new fan loyalty rewards program.
