The Los Angeles Sparks teamed up with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for their 5th annual run for her 5k Run and Friendship Walk on Sunday, November 15th. The event is held each year to raise funds and awareness for ovarian cancer. The groundbreaking research is done at the Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Treatment Institute at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Sparks owners Carla Christofferson and Kathy Goodman, team President Kristin Bernert, Vice President and General Manager Penny Toler and Sparks fans were all on hand to participate in the run/walk and support the cause. The Ole Skool Crew performed and Sparky pumped up the crowd all morning.

The Sparks participated in run for her for the third straight year and as a team helped raise funds for the fight against ovarian cancer.
