Christi Thomas made a guest appearance Saturday, April 9th from 11:00am to 1:30 pm at Rancho Cienega Sports Complex for the Seventh Annual Girls In Sports Day L.A. presented by the Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks. Between the volleyball, tennis, golf, and soccer lessons, Thomas hosted a Read To Achieve “reading timeout” for approximately 400 girls, ages 18 and under, who attended this clinic for free. Each participant received a 2005 schedule card, a “Read to Achieve” booklet, a push-pull ticket voucher for the Sparks home opener May 31, 2005, and an autograph from Christi. Also, the participant who received the goodie bag with a Sparks sticker on the back of the ticket voucher won an autographed Read To Achieve t-shirt.
