Reading With Whit
The Los Angeles Sparks visited Norwalk Regional Library on Wednesday, May 18 at 2:00 p.m. to promote the importance of reading and education to local 3rd and 4th grade students. Tamika Whitmore and Dee Dee Wheeler read a book to separate groups of students and then combined the two to answer questions and sign autographs. All of the kids received a Sparks goodie bag that included a ticket voucher to the home-opener, a book of their choice, a Read To Achieve bookmark and several other Sparks goodies.
