The Sparks organization had a community booth at the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. Thousands of people came out to help support breast cancer research through the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. The Sparks were proud to donate a prize of a autographed basketball and two season seats to a lucky winner.

Linda, a breast cancer survivor, won the prize and is excited about attending Sparks games during the 2003 season. Two Sparks representatives ran in the race with thousands of others and assisted at the booth throughout the afternoon.
