A very special girl came to the Sparks practice and had a chance to meet the entire team! Nine year old Natalie Ortega is battling cancer and was so happy to meet Lisa Leslie and the rest of the Sparks crew at the STAPLES Center recently. Natalie's family saw the joy in her eyes as she shook hands with all the players and even walked away with a signed basketball!
The Sparks have made a commitment to Natalie and her family to offer seats at all our home games this season. The Championship Sparks are excited about the new friendship they have made with Natalie.
