Sparks guard Tamecka Dixon visited Weemes Elementary School and Ms. Matsui’s third grade classroom this Thursday June 23, 2005 from 12:30-1:30pm. After reading the students a story written by legendary author Dr. Seuss, she answered all of their questions and signed autographs. Each student received two books, courtesy of Disney, and a Sparks goodie bag. This was the team’s third Read To Achieve event of the 2005 season.
