The Sparks had a strong presence at the Venice Beach boardwalk for the Jr. WNBA’s Gatorade Championship Series held on April 22nd . James Brown represented the Ticketing Department and had season ticket information available for fans along with a raffle for Sparks fan packs and t-shirts. The Community Relations Department had a ton of fun giving out Sparks fuzzy wigs to participants and spectators at the games. At 11:00 am, Mwadi Mabika arrived to sign autographs and take pictures with fans. The Sparks also took part in the award’s ceremony, where Mwadi had the opportunity to present the tournament’s runner’s up and championship teams with their trophies and medals! The Los Angeles Sparks encourage participation and fundamental skill development to recreational youth basketball leagues in Southern California.
