The Los Angeles Sparks have selected the Crenshaw Lady Cougars as the Team of the Week presented by NikeWomen.com for the week of January 5th-9th. Starting the 2008-2009 season at 5-3, the Lady Cougars began the new year with a bang competing in the L.A. City Showcase and finishing 2-1 in the tournament and capping off the week at 3-1. With three of their four games during the week being decided by eight points or less, the Lady Cougars showed passion and determination to earn this week's award.
