Olivia

Olivia is a former high school and college cheerleader who never stopped loving to dance.  Born in East LA, Olivia remembered her mother teaching her to dance in the kitchen with her sister and brother to styles of dance such as: salsa, cumbias, and 1960’s / 1970’s R&B tunes.  After graduating from college and then becoming a probation officer for the County of Los Angeles, Olivia took her love of dance with her.  She remembers organizing “freestyle dance” and “electric slide” lessons with juvenile offenders during recreation periods while she worked at Los Padrinos Juvenile Hall in Downey, and Camp Karl Holton in San Fernando, California

Olivia saw the Ole Skool Crew on the E! Channel and was so blown away by their performance, she decided to audition and made the team this year! Olivia is electrified for this opportunity, “It has been an absolute dream come true to perform for the Los Angeles Sparks and work with these wonderful women of the Ole Skool Crew! I never thought I would get the opportunity to dance again at this level! I love the energy!”

Presently, Olivia cheers on all three of her sons during their football games and still acts like a cheerleader, dancing along during halftime shows while she sits in the stands like the proud mother she is.  Along with her love and passion for dance, Olivia’s greatest achievements are raising her three boys: Calvin (age 21), Nico (age 17), and Luke (age 15).
