On Wednesday June 20th, the Chicago Sky teamed up with Jamba Juice at The Dock at Montrose Beach to help promote a healthy lifestyle. Sky point guard Courtney Vandersloot was on hand as Jamba Juice hosted its Live Fruitfully Expo, which included everything from Bollywood dancing to paddle boarding on Lake Michigan.
“Jamba Juice is all about inspiring healthy lifestyles with both nutrition and fitness so what we’ve got here is several different on trend fitness activities for people to partake in,” said Kim Doren, Senior Manager of Marketing for Jamba Juice. “We just want to get people out and moving around and active to inspire that kind of lifestyle.”
Courtney Vandersloot came to show her support for the Team Up for the Healthy America initiative. Vandersloot pledged to eat more nutritious foods and stay physically active to help raise awareness of our nation’s obesity epidemic. For every pledge received, Jamba Juice will donate a dollar towards fitness equipment for schools across the country.
