Sky Teams Up With ADA

The EXPO will take place on Saturday, April 13 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Registration is free and available online or at the door. The Sky’s mascot, Sky Guy will participate in the Opening and Ribbon Cutting ceremonies, which kick off at 9:45 am.

The Sky continues to work with ADA throughout the year to encourage an active, healthy lifestyle and raise awareness about diabetes prevention and management.

A special ticket package is available for the Sky’s August 11th game against the Minnesota Lynx which is our annual “Dribble to Stop Diabetes” event. For every package purchased through this offer, the Sky will donate $5 to the ADA. Packages are priced at $20, $30 and $45. Click here to purchase tickets.

The Sky will also team up with ADA on June 12, 2013 when Chicago Sky owner Michael Alter is honored as an ADA Father of the Year. Alter will be recognized for his work with City Year Chicago, a nonprofit that unites young people from diverse backgrounds for a demanding year of full-time community service and leadership development.
