Sky Guy Trick-or-Treats

To get in the spirit of Halloween, Sky Guy put on his best super hero costume, cape and all, and headed out to the Trick or Treat on Southport and Pumpkin Party on the city's North side with a few of his favorite Sky staff members on Sunday, October 24.

Good thing Sky Guy dressed up because there were lots of kids in all kinds of great costumes. The day started with Sky Guy and his friends handing out Sky t-shirts and wristbands while fans spun the Sky prizewheel for a chance to win tickets to see a Sky home game in 2011 and other exciting giveaways. After that, Sky Guy made his way around the Pumpkin Party to see all the giant inflatable slides and the haunted house. Sky Guy also managed to meet a bunch of trick-or-treaters and give them candy and Sky wristbands.

During his day trick-or-treating Sky Guy also learned some great tips for staying safe while trick-or-treating. Here they are:

  • Trick-or-treat in familiar neighborhoods.
  • Always trick-or-treat in groups accompanied by an adult.
  • Don't eat candy that looks like its already been opened or is homemade.
  • Never accept rides from strangers.
  • Plan your route before heading out.
