Tasty Treats at Food Truck Festival

Sky fans enjoyed tasty cuisine from local food trucks at the Chicago Sky Food Truck Festival before the Sunday, June 2 home game against the Tulsa Shock. Over 200 fans braved the overcast and rainy weather to stop by the trucks, located in the north parking lot of the All-State Arena for the pre-game event.

In an effort to end childhood hunger in Illinois, a portion of the proceeds from the festival went to benefit the No Kid Hungry Illinois Campaign. The Sky is dedicated to aiding this effort, and the food truck festival worked to gain awareness along with providing a donation to the cause.

Featured trucks were the Ragin Kitchen, Curried, and Toasty Cheese. Ragin Kitchen, the, “perfect culinary storm on wheels,” provided fans with a variety of foods from seafood, pork tacos to BBQ chicken. Curried, Chicago’s very first Indian food truck, prepared fans dishes of Chicken Tikka Masala and Samosas. The Toasty Cheese Truck brought all of our favorite cheesy classics to the Sky fans including both American and Cheddar grilled sandwiches, served with gourmet French fries and soups.
