Regular Season Round 4: Ros Casares - USK Praha
ZVVZ USK Prague threw away one lead but built another to see off Ros Casares 67-59 in Spain and pushed them off the top of Euroleague Women's Group A. After allowing Ros Casares to wipe out an early 12-point advantage, Prague pulled clear down the stretch to level their own record at 2-2 while leaving Ros Casares on 3-1.
Prague had dominated the first half of the game and more, reeling off 10 straight points to go 10-2 up in the first quarter, and then using a fast-break basket from DeLisha Milton-Jones early in the second quarter to establish a dominating 22-10 lead.
Ros Casares kept scrapping, and used a 10-2 run to close the gap to 24-20 on Ann Wauters' three-point play. They kept Prague under pressure and finally re-took the lead early in the third quarter, with back-to-back baskets from Sancho Lyttle making it 33-30.
Prague came right back to reclaim the edge, sparking a spell that saw the lead change hands several times. But the visitors began to re-establish a comfortable lead with a 10-3 run early in the fourth quarter that put them up 50-44 on Milton-Jones' jump-shot.
Wauters cut it back to three, 50-47, but Eva Viteckova responded with a long ball and another three from Elin Eldebrink made it 56-49 with 2:45 to go.
Ros Casares were blowing chances to put the pressure on, with Wauters missing an extra point from the free throw line before a turnover from Eshaya Murphy handed the ball back.
A big three-pointer from Silvia Dominguez gave them hope, down five 62-57 with 36 seconds to go, but Laia Palau was off target with another three ball moments later and Viteckova hit a pair from the line to make it 65-57 with 25 seconds to go, putting another nail in the hosts' coffin.
Palau made late free throws for the Valencia team, but it was too little too late as Viteckova iced it.
The late free throws took Viteckova to 20 points to lead Prague, while Anna Montanana had 15 and Milton-Jones 12.
Lyttle led Ros Casares with 19 points while Wauters poured in 18 while adding eight rebounds.

Regular Season Round 3: Ros Casares - Ibiza
There was no surprise that bottom-ranked Ibiza (0-3) was crushed by leader Ros Casares (3-0) 77-54. Ros Casares was in control the entire game except for the fourth quarter where Ibiza outscored Ros Casares 16-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Ros Casares forced 19 Ibiza turnovers and outrebounded them 33-22 including 21 on the defensive glass. Ros Casares players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Ibiza's players. It was a good game for center Sancho Lyttle who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Chicago Sky guard Shay Murphy contributed with 16 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Ros Casares' coach Natalia Hejkova felt very confident using 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. American forward Melissa Dennett answered with 19 points and 6 rebounds and Catherine Scanlon added 13 points and 4 steals in the effort for Ibiza. Ros Casares had a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Perfumerias and Rivas Ecopolis. Ibiza closes the standings with three games lost. They share the position with Hondar.-Irun. Ros Casares will play against Mann Filter (#6) in Zaragoza in the next round, which should be theoretically another easy game. Ibiza will play at home against Cadi la Seu (#11) in Seu D'urgell and hopes to get finally their first victory.
Shay is currently 5th in scoring in the league with 19.0 points a game and 6th in steals with 2.7 a game.

Regular Round Three: Ros Casares – Lotos Gdyynia
A rampant Ros Casares travelled to Poland to face Lotos Gdynia on Thursday and won their third consecutive game in the EuroLeague Women.
With Sancho Lyttle in the squad for the first time and fellow post players Ann Wauters and Isabelle Yacoubou dominant yet again, the Valencia club claimed a 90-72 victory. Ros and Galatasaray are now 3-0 and on top of Group A while Gdynia are 0-3.
Lyttle, one of the star performers in Perfumerias Avenida's European title winning side last season, had 18 points and nine rebounds.
She was a late arrival to new club Ros Casares after playing in the WNBA Finals with the Atlanta Dream.
Yacoubou had a game-high 23 points and Wauters poured in 18.
Wauters has been on a tear since returning to basketball after missing most of last season while having a baby.
The Belgian center went into the contest averaging 21.5 points and 11 rebounds in the EuroLeague Women.
Yacoubou, a gold-medal winner with France at EuroBasket 2009, scored 19 points in last week's victory over VICI Aistes.
Any team with designs on putting Ros Casares on the line instead of giving away easy shots had better come up with a different strategy because the Spanish club sank 27 of their 28 free-throw attempts. The visitors, who are coached by Natalia Hejkova, trailed only early in the contest but went in front to stay in the first quarter.
After Gdynia's Aneika Henry tied the contest at 6-6, two Silvia Dominguez free-throws and jump shots by Yacoubou and Wauters started a Ros Casares 12-2 run that was capped by four straight points by Lyttle.
A Yacoubou jumper gave the Spanish club a 28-18 advantage at the end of the first quarter.
Wauters had 10 points in the opening frame and Yacoubou six. The advantage grew late in the first half.
Yacoubou nailed another jump shot to make it 42-26 and Dominguez's lay-up right before the end of the second quarter left Ros in command at 48-30.
